The idle-shaft lever and spring fit for Kawasaki KLR650 1987-Present,

item machined from High Quality 304 SUS (ISO9001).

It replaces the "weak" stock unit that often fails on the Kawasaki KLR 650.  It is well known that KLR650's have problems with the stock idle lever needed to keep tension on the balancer chain. Both the stock spring and the stock idle lever will fail in as little as 7000km's.

Failure of either part can destroy the engine. This kit solves the problem with a better design and by being made with stronger materials. The idle-shaft lever is Machined from stainless-steel to be incredibly strong. Includes stainless steel idle lever and two differing length coil springs. The Torsion Spring is an alternate or additional spring that can replace the traditional coil spring.
